Permanent Residence

Cyprus Permanent Residency by Investment Program

The Cyprus Permanent Residency Program offers a streamlined and secure path for non-EU nationals to obtain long-term residence in an EU member state renowned for its favorable business environment, high standard of living, safety, and attractive tax system.

The qualifications for the applicants are:

• A minimum investment of €300,000 (+ VAT) in new residential real estate or other eligible assets, such as commercial properties
• Shares in a Cyprus-based company with physical presence, or units in Cyprus-regulated investment funds. The investment must be fully paid and sourced from funds transferred from abroad.

The permit is granted to the main applicant and their immediate family, including:

• The spouse of the applicant
• Dependent children under the age of 25, provided they are unmarried, financially dependent, and (if over 18) enrolled in higher education
• Adult children over 25 may no longer qualify unless applying independently or under specific educational/dependency exceptions
• As of the May 2023 revisions, parents and in-laws are no longer eligible for inclusion under the same application
